The Indian cargo ship, which was hijacked by Somali pirates, with 11 crew members on board, has been moved to an undisclosed location until the ransom demands are met, according to Reuters.
The pirate leader said that negotiations were under way with businessmen for the release of the vessel Al Kausar, which has been moved to a new location to avoid security personnel.
According to UKMTO, the ship Al Kausar was en route from Dubai to the northern port of Bosasso.
This is second incident of hijacking this year. A tanker ship with Sri Lankan crew was hijacked last month but was released within few days after clash with security forces.
