GTT Receives Order Notification From HSHI For The Tank Design Of A New LNGC
GTT has received a new order notification from the Korean shipyard Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries (HSHI) for the design of a new 174,000 m3 LNG carrier (LNGC), to be built on behalf of an Asian ship owner. The vessel’s delivery is expected in Q4 2020.
The LNG tanks of the vessel will be equipped with the proven Mark III Flex containment system developed by GTT.
Philippe Berterottière, Chairman and CEO of GTT declared: “We are proud of the success achieved by the Mark III Flex technology, now selected to equip almost 90 ships since its launch.”
