EXMAR is pleased to announce that the first commercial LNG cargo has left Argentina for export. It was produced on board EXMAR’s Tango FLNG and is now being transported by Excalibur, an EXMAR’s fleet LNG carrier.
EXMAR’s Board of Directors and management want to congratulate both EXMAR and YPF teams for reaching this unique milestone.
It is the first LNG shipment from the Americas produced on a floating liquefaction unit. This demonstrates the solid performance of EXMAR’s floating infrastructure solutions.
Innovating across the entire LNG Value Chain
EXMAR has transformed itself from being an LNG vessel owner and operator into a fully integrated, turnkey solution provider for the LNG industry.
With over three decades of specialised know-how in handling, storing and transporting LNG by sea, EXMAR has been a pioneer in introducing innovations along the entire LNG value chain. Through its expertise, EXMAR has helped its customers and partners achieve significant efficiencies, enabling them to bring their product to market faster than by using traditional supply chain solutions. EXMAR provides this added value by offering bespoke solutions under a build-own-operate model.
With its existing string asset base combined with its barge-based floating liquefaction unit and expertise in FSRU’s (Floating Storage and Regasification Units), EXMAR’s ambition is to pursue further growth within the LNG value chain.
