Duqm Bunkering Stop Officially Opens
Bunkering at the port of Duqm was officially launched in a ceremony on 18 December. Bunkering is supervised by the bunkering wing of the Oman Oil Marketing Company.
The OOMCO Marine fuel terminal and the associated bunker business form part of the long-term tactics as a firm to enable the growth of several sectors of Oman, including logistics, shipping, and energy and the respective infrastructure of these, per Tarik al Junaidi, the firm’s chief executive.
The marine fuels station is ensured adequate supply from the Duqm refinery. Besides bunkers, vessels calling at the port can also access pilotage, waste collection, freshwater supply, ship handling, and other services.
