China-flagged Cargo Vessel Sinks Off Sakhalin Island In Russia
China-flagged cargo vessel reportedly sank in the Strait of Tartary off Russia’s Sakhalin island coast, the press service associated with Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport in Russia reported to TASS on Wednesday, adding that there had been no casualties.
The crew comprising 21 citizens of the People’s Republic of China, reportedly got onto the ice and was taken on an approaching vessel, TASS cited at the press service.
The latest information prompts that everyone is safe and there were no casualties.
