A cargo ship with 13 crew members sank in East China’s Zhejiang Province on Wednesday. According to the maritime search and rescue center, two have died whereas seven are still missing.
A distress call was received from a dry cargo ship at about 3:40 PM. The center was alerted that the ship’s cargo hold had flooded due to rough weather about two nautical miles north of Cezi islands in the city of Zhoushan.
Four crew members have been rescued, as search and rescue vessels have been dispatched to find the other missing crew members.
