Bosphorus Ship Traffic Resumes After Suspension Over Ship Engine Failure

Ship traffic in Bosphorus Strait (Turkey) is set to restart in a northbound direction on Thursday as of 0600 GMT, following a brief suspension. 

The Tribeca shipping agency reported the suspension happened because of a ship’s engine failure.

This is the second time traffic was halted in the Bosphorus Strait this week. 

On Monday, traffic stopped on the waterway because of a ship salvage operation.
