The VLCC suffered only minor damage and there were no injuries to our crew aboard. The cargo was unaffected and there was no loss of containment. The crude carrier successfully resumed her northward journey across the Red Sea.

Bahri is grateful to the Saudi-led coalition whose warship intervened and ensured that the carrier’s continued journey towards its destination was safe and uninterrupted.

With our emergency systems in place, our crew and crisis response teams followed standard safety procedures, and we are currently cooperating and coordinating with all concerned authorities and officials.
