A Call To Action: The Path To Achieve Net Zero Carbon Emissions By 2050

With climate change being the greatest challenge we face as both humans and the planet, it is up to all of us to take action. As brand innovators, we recognize that cutting down fuel consumption and harmful emissions is how we can create An Epic Sea Change For All — which includes working towards long term solutions for the cruising industry and the travel industry as a whole.

As part of this pledge, we have committed to reducing our climate impact and have a global target to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. To help us reach this goal, we have partnered with different brands who share the same ethos of disrupting the industry by taking action.

Twelve – A carbon transformation company with revolutionary technology using air (not oil) to produce materials and fuel sources.

Argent Energy – The European waste-based biodiesel producer with a vision to help decarbonise transport worldwide.

Good Fuels – Global market leader of accelerating the transition from harmful emissions into sustainable marine fuel (SMF) by implementing waste-based technology.

To reach this ambitious target, it is our goal to work with businesses across the industry, governments, not-for-profit organizations, fuel suppliers and other stakeholders. We estimate that shifting to ‘drop-in’, sustainable marine fuels could reduce the lifecycle emissions from fuel by 75% or more.
