71 Passengers Rescued After RORO Vessel MV Reina Hosanna Runs Aground Near Capul
MV Reina Hosanna, a RoRo vessel, recently ran aground off the Capul coast due to a sudden engine failure. Despite many efforts to tow it, the ship was reportedly pushed ashore. In Capul, Northern Samar, a roll-on/roll-off (abbreviated as RoRo) vessel, MV Reina Hosanna, met with an unfortunate event on Sunday as it ran aground owing to an unforeseen engine failure. Despite the efforts of yet another vessel, MV Reina Immaculada, to tow it back safely, the mooring line tore under powerful currents. Eventually, such a forceful surge pushed MV Reina Hosanna toward the Barangay 1 shoreline.
