Infographic: World’s Four Deadliest Sea Crossings In 2014

According to the UN refugee agency, more than 100,000 migrants have made dangerous boat journey across the Mediterranean in 2014. This is just one of the many sea crossings in the world.

A new infographic released by the UN refugee agency shows four of the world’s deadliest sea crossing of 2014. According to it, almost 4200 deaths have been resulted from the four crossings – Caribbean Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Gulf of Aden and Red Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Considering the grave migrant crises, ICS recently came out with guidelines for large scale rescue operations at the sea.
