Avalon Panorama – The First “Suite Ship” in the World
In a bid to make cruising even more enjoyable and luxurious than ever, Avalon waterways’ ‘Suite Ship’ named Avalon Panorama is the best that cruising industry has to offer. This 443 ft long ship is complete with two full decks of suite accommodation with each suite built over an area of 200 feet square (Royal Suites occupy area of 300 square feet each).
Besides the luxury of space in private suites and public areas, this ship offers panoramic windows, better lighting facilities and epic views at all times. Everything on this ship has been designed considering the luxury of its passengers. The hardwood interiors, glass and metal work in lounges and staterooms are all about indulgence.
Avalon Panorama supports 17 Deluxe Staterooms and 66 Panorama suites situated on the upper two decks of the ship. Each spacious stateroom is spread over an area of 172 feet square, which is incidentally 30 % more than any other stateroom on ships operable in Europe.
Each stateroom includes flat screen TVs, comfortable beds, bedside tables, lamps, dressing table with mirror, an in room safe and a direct-dial phone.
It also allows its passengers access to internet through a Wi-Fi connection, not to mention the ship’s staff that is always available on their call.
The continental breakfast and drinks service, an in room mini bar and service access allows takes care of every need of passengers.
The suites are available under categories namely A, B and C. All these suites have been provided with a living area that flaunts panoramic windows which can be opened as wide as 11”X7”. Even though this is the main attraction, this is not all.
All the beds on this ship have been provided with specially designed orthopedic mattresses and a range of pillows for choice, cotton linens, extra blankets and European style duvets. The bathrooms have been furnished with L’Occitane bathroom amenities that add to the luxury quotient of this ship.
Other luxuries available on the ships include a Sky deck fun pool, an open air bistro, fitness room, hair salon, upscale bar and a self serve beverage station. Enjoy Social hour and drink specials available in main lounge, afternoon tea, coffee and sweets in upscale bar or hot chocolate and premium coffee in self serve beverage station.
Avalon Panorama can accommodate a total of 147 passengers besides a capacity for 66 crew members. The crew members include ship’s navigation staff that looks into high technology ship navigation, European chefs that look into culinary requirements of all the passengers and the supporting staff.
The chefs look into all the meals for passengers, including the grilled lunches, continental breakfast that comes both for early risers and those who enjoy luxury of sleep longer and stateroom dinners along with welcome and a five course farewell dinner.
