‘MSC Cruises’ Latest Flagship Completes Final Sea Trials
MSC World America, the latest LNG-powered flagship from MSC Cruises, has successfully completed its final sea trials in the Atlantic, marking a major milestone before its grand debut.
Designed specifically for the U.S. market, the vessel underwent rigorous testing for engine performance, fuel efficiency, and safety—ensuring a flawless cruise experience.
Now in its final stages at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard, it will be delivered to MSC Cruises on March 27, 2025, with a spectacular naming ceremony in PortMiami on April 9.
Its maiden voyage will set sail on April 12, heading to Ocean Cay in The Bahamas, before launching 7-night Caribbean itineraries to top destinations in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and beyond.
At 333 meters long and 22 decks high, this floating city boasts 2,614 cabins, 19 restaurants, 18 bars, seven themed districts, and a one-of-a-kind Eataly restaurant at sea.
