Israeli Attacks Destroy Hezbollah’s Main Naval Base In Beirut

Overnight, Israeli jets launched a powerful airstrike on Hezbollah’s primary naval base near Beirut, aiming to disrupt Hezbollah's maritime operations against Israel.

The airstrike targeted critical assets, including the headquarters, ammunition storage, and fast vessels at the base, crippling Hezbollah’s naval capabilities.

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Hezbollah’s naval unit was specifically designed to target Israeli navy vessels and crucial maritime infrastructure.

Residents near the base were warned in advance to evacuate for their safety before the airstrikes began.

Hezbollah, known for coastal defenses, focuses on anti-ship warfare and is reportedly developing unmanned underwater vehicles for covert operations.

Since the October 7 Hamas attacks, Hezbollah has intensified its attacks on Israel, including drone strikes on Israel’s offshore gas reserves.

The conflict has forced over 68,000 Israelis to evacuate their homes in the north, with Hezbollah's warnings discouraging residents from returning.

Beyond the naval base, IDF forces also struck three Hezbollah command centers, disrupting their aerial and drone attack capabilities.
