Victoria Isabella Becomes The Biggest Cruise Ship Sailing On China’s Yangtze River
Victoria Cruise Lines is set to debut its 570-passenger Victoria Isabella in September 2025 as the biggest cruise ship sailing on the River Yangtze.
Victoria stated that it is breaking its record, which was set in 2020, when the Victoria Sabrina was first introduced.
The Isabella will almost be identical to the Sabrina, per Victoria Cruise Lines. However, Isabella will be the first cruise ship of its size to have an escalator.
The ship will have 236 staterooms with amenities matching a five-star hotel. The rooms will have private balconies and 22 executive suites, a luxurious amenities package and two Shangri-La Suites, which are the biggest onboard.
President of the Company, Benson Wu, said that the number of U.S passengers to China is down from pre-pandemic levels, but many factors indicate that the market will see a comeback.
The company also plans to introduce a program which would allow Americans to visit for atleast 10 days without needing a visa.
The Isabella will join the cruise line fleet with other vessels including Sabrina, Jenna, Katarina and Anna.
