Russian strikes killed two people and injured 26 on Thursday (July 5, 2024) in Ukrainian regions that extended from the south to the east and northeast, according to local authorities.

A missile strike in southern Odesa killed one woman, injured seven others, and damaged port infrastructure, according to regional governor Oleh Kiper on Telegram.

A Russian-guided bomb attack on the village of Ruska Lozova killed a second woman and injured a man, according to regional governor Oleh Syniehubov.

Governor Vadym Filashkin stated that a drone attack and shelling in the Donetsk region’s frontline town of Novohrodivka injured nine others, including four children.

Serhiy Lysak, the regional governor of Dnipropetrovsk, reported seven wounded in Nikopol, in the south.

Lysak further stated that Russian forces struck regions near Nikopol with drones and artillery on Wednesday evening (July 3, 2024) and Thursday morning (July 4, 2024).

Later, Lysak stated that a woman died of injuries sustained on July 3 in Dnipro, the region’s biggest city, where seven people were killed in the attack.

A drone strike in Kherson, southern Ukraine, injured two individuals, according to the local authorities.

Since Russia’s full-scale invasion began in February 2022, the afflicted regions have been targeted multiple times.

Despite Russia’s denial that it targeted civilians or civilian infrastructure, thousands of people have been killed or injured.
