The 12-deck ship, which began service on September 30th, 2023, is a notable vessel with a LOA length of 292 m (958 ft) and a volume/gross tonnage of 86,000 GT-tons. It currently retains the distinction of being China’s largest cruise ship in operation.

Adora Mediterranea, formerly operated by Costa Cruises, is distinguished by its infusion of rich Mediterranean customs and cultural features, creating a distinct ambience for passengers.

With a capacity of 2680 people spread across 1057 staterooms, the ship runs a six-day/five-night round-trip itinerary from its homeport at Qingdao.

In September, Qingdao emerged as the first city in north China to resume global ship services. The operation of the Mediterranea cruise line in Qingdao marks a fresh start for Adora Cruises as it strives to expand its presence and capture a larger market in northern China.
