Watch: How Car Carrier Hoegh Osaka Was Grounded?

SRT Marine Technology, the UK-based AIS technology firm, has created a 3D simulation of how the car carrier Hoegh Osaka was grounded in the Solent.

Using GeoVs Dynamic 3D Viewer, the simulation shows the movement of the vessel after she left Southampton followed by deliberate grounding in the Solent, off the Isle of Wight.
